If you've been following us for a while, I spoke briefly of our issues getting pregnant with Bentley in {this} post. It took us about a year of trying before our doctor allowed us to get onto Chlomid. We got pregnant on our first dose, which I am ever grateful for. As far as infertility goes, we were very lucky that was our only problem. My heart goes out to those families who are struggling with this. Needless to say, when All Things Lovely reached out to me, their cause hit very close to home.  

All Things Lovely: Our Story
From the very beginning, we wanted this website to be different. We wanted it to be a part of who we are, part of what we love, and that is what makes All Things Lovely unique. As a husband and wife team working side by side with vendors, photographers, bloggers and many others, we aspire to make your shopping experience unique and let you make a difference. Let us paint you a picture...

Rewind Five Years...

My husband and I were ready to start a family. After two years of frustration, disappointment, and heartache, we decided to make an appointment with Dr. Richards and Dr. Marrs at Utah Fertility Partners. We soon found that with the issues facing both my husband and myself, we would have very little chance of ever conceiving on our own. So after a few test and appointments, we decided to empty our life savings and undergo in vitro fertilization. It was a risk, but we felt that it was the road we needed to travel. Three months of treatments, shots, hormones, and procedures whisked by, and we crossed our fingers and prayed for success. Our prayers were answered on January 9, 2011, when I gave birth to our first child, Winnie! The overwhelming joy, happiness, and fulfillment we felt that day is something we believe every family should be able to have. My husband and I wanted to find a way to help make a difference. 

Fast Forward Two Years...

After working with countless websites, boutiques, and shops as a vendor, our frustration came to a crossroads. We knew there had to be a better way for unique vendors to get exposure for their one-of-a-kind products. We knew the experience we wanted as a shopper, and we knew the way we wanted to be treated as a vendor. So, we set out to design our own platform and create the ideal experience we envisioned, both for our amazing vendors and for you, the shopper, the most important person of all! We also knew this was our chance to make a difference in the lives of couples struggling with infertility.

This is one of the most important parts of our site. Every month we will feature a couple who is struggling with infertility, letting you read their stoyr and feel the challenge they face. Many of you have experienced these struggles yourselves, or you may know and love somebody who has. This is your chance to make a difference! With each featured couple, we give you the option to donate directly to their cause, with 100% of the donations going to this couple to help them start their family.
