Jewels & Sparkles-

If you know me, whenever I have some spare time I am always doing something to my nails. Or as my Mom, Kent, and Brady would say "grooming" :) Right now, my new favorite thing to do is *GLITTER TOES*. A lot of people get them done at salons and they cost $25-$30 bucks. I say, skip the salon and do it yourself for less than $5! All that is required is clear nail polish, and your favorite glitter from any craft store (I go to Roberts). There you will find bigger chunk glitter and a smaller dust glitter. Both will work but I prefer the bigger chunk glitter since it stands out more like glitter and the other one looks more like nail polish but they both work!
.

.
Step 1*
Paint your nails with clear nail polish
.
.
.
Step 2*
Pour glitter on the nail while the polish is still wet. By pour I really mean dump. This step is usually pretty messy. Its best to do this over a paper towel so you can salvage some of the glitter for a later time.
.
.
.
Step 3*
Wait a few minutes (5 should do the trick) and then shake your leg to get off the extra glitter.
.
.
.
Step 4*
Paint another clear coat over the glitter.
.
.
.
After you paint the clear coat over the glitter you can either stop there or I usually like to repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 which helps it to stand out more! These nails are especially great for summer since the look really great out in the sun. Enjoy!

  4. I just Google-imaged glitter toes and your cute feet were the first result! Thanks for the simple step-by-step; this seems like something even I could do. :) Best wishes from Park City, Utah
