First off, I want to say the biggest thank you for all of the sweet words and support I have received since going on Good Things Utah! Without a doubt, it was the most amazing experience ever! All of the details to follow shortly :)

For all of our new visitors, we are so happy to have you! I hope you enjoy our crazy little ride here at Hello Little Scout. You can learn more about us {here} as well as see what we're up to on Instagram {here}.

As I mentioned in my last post, it has been the busiest and most fun past 2 1/2 weeks for our little family of 3! We have been in 4 different states and are so glad to finally be home and back to our normal schedule... kinda.

Since we've been home I've been going crazy (Brady can vouch for this) getting everything together for Bentley's first birthday which is next week. How we got to this point I have no idea but it's coming whether I like it or not. I am dying to share all of the fun details, it is going to be amazing!

Sometimes you just need a break from reality and this sure fit the bill! Here is what the start of our Summer Destinations looked like :)

On Wednesday, May 29th Bentley and I packed up and flew out to Arizona for my brother's graduation. When we got to the airport, the sweetest girl walked us through security and even to our terminal to make sure we were okay. What a blessing! We got there a couple of hours before our flight took of so we had lots of time to kill. I was hoping it would wear him out a bit and I think it worked!

Things are only as fun as they taste right! Mom of the year award? I know.

It was my first flight alone with Bentley and saying I was worried is a huge understatement. Bentley is all boy and loves to be moving! I brought along lots of treats and books to play with and we only had a few outcries because he couldn't move. He did so good! :)

The next day we were able to attend my brother's graduation from Medical School. I'm so glad I could be there for it!

High five!

So proud of this guy!

  1. Wow, I can't wait to hear more about your trip!! So far, it looks like it was an amazing time. Congratulations to your brother, and even more, congratulations Mom for surviving Bentley's first plane flight. I remember bringing Lewie on his first flight two years ago, and it was definitely a tough experience...especially since you're only allowed to bring certain things on the plane due to safety regulations. I'm glad to hear that he passed his first plane experience with flying colors! (no pun intended)

  2. Yay for Bentley being so well behaved! I'm always nervous to fly by myself with London...but she almost always surprises me. I've decided I just need to keep having low expectations, that way I'll always be impressed with how well she does on flights. ;) Congrats to your brother, and glad you were able to be there for him!!
