Rolo Pretzel Bites

Our apartment looks like this tonight... and has for the last two weeks (+ a few other guys). Oh how we love the dreaded Finals week! Usually our apartment is the go to place for studying since we do not have kids yet.

What better way to keep these guys focused on their finals than Rolo Pretzels!? I have fallen in love with this sweet and salty snack for a couple of reasons:

1. It is soo easy and requires only 2 ingredients

2. Chocolate + Caramel + Pretzels = Pure Bliss

Okay... so really the 2nd is the only one that matters for me but this is one of the recipes I resort to when we are all needing a good chocolate fix.

All you need is Rolos and Bite Size Pretzels! I also use aluminum foil which eliminates the whole cleaning up part... what more could you ask for?!

Start by placing as many pretzels as you will need on the cookie sheet.

Get a bunch of Rolos and unwrap them. Then place 1 (sometimes I overindulge with 2) on top of each pretzel.

Stick these babies under the broiler for only a few minutes (make sure you keep an eye on them if you do broil them otherwise you will have a very crispy no good mess, which may or may not have happened to us..). After they are done you can either stick nuts, M&M's or whatever your preference to squish them down but usually for us we eat them right out of the oven! Enjoy these sweet treats while they are still nice and warm, they are divine!
